By Car*: Get directions

     Carpool?

*Please note that if you park in the municipal parking deck next to the library there is a charge. It will cost you approximately $16 to park for the entire day.

A map showing the location of all parking in downtown Princeton can be found here:

Princeton Parking (The library is number 14 on the map and the parking deck is the letter D)

By Train

The Northeast corridor line of NJ Transit will bring you to the Princeton Junction station. From this station you transfer to a very small train known as The Dinky and it takes you on the 1 mile trip to the Princeton staion on campus. From the Princeton Station it is about a one mile walk to the library (a very pleasant walk through campus and downtown Princeton).

By Plane

Several airports are within an hour or so Princeton (Newark, JFK, Laguardia, and Phildadelphia). If you fly in to Newark you can take the NJ Transit train to the Princeton Junction station directly from the airport.

By Bus

You can take a bus from the Port Authority in NYC directly to Palmer Square in downtwon Princeton which is less than .5 of a mile to the library. Very simple to do and probably one of the most direct ways to get close to the library.
